📖 Overview

Crafting is a primary mechanic in Heartopia that allows players to create Furniture, tools, and refined materials. Unlike some other life sims, crafting in Heartopia is primarily focused on furniture and decoration, with tools often being acquired via quests or shops.

  • Crafting is performed at a Work Bench
  • No stamina is consumed when crafting items
  • Most items are crafted instantly
  • Many items require a blueprint to be unlocked first
  • Blueprints can be found in "bubbles" around town or earned through quests

🛠️ How to Craft

Interact with Work Bench

Approach a Work Bench and press the interaction button to open the crafting menu.

Select Recipe

Choose the item you wish to craft. If you lack materials, the missing items will be highlighted in red.

Craft!

Press the craft button. The item will be added to your inventory or sent to your mailbox if your bag is full.

🪑 Crafting Stations

The primary station is the Work Bench. Players receive a basic one during the tutorial, but more advanced or aesthetically different versions can be crafted or purchased later.

  • Basic Work Bench: The starting station for all fundamental recipes
  • Dye Station: Used for recoloring items (advanced feature)
  • Furnace: Used for smelting ores into ingots

📜 Blueprints & Unlocks

While basic items are available early on, advanced furniture and structural parts require Blueprints.

💭 Blueprint Bubbles

A unique mechanic where players can find floating bubbles around the Town or in the wild. Popping these bubbles has a chance to drop a random furniture blueprint!

🏪 Shops

Blanc's Gardening Store and the general furniture shop sell specific blueprints daily. Check back often for new stock!

📜 Quests

Complete story quests and side missions to earn exclusive blueprints as rewards.
